WebbAlong that hardware was a LSI-9260-8i RAID controller, our plan was to use ZFS for everything. Prior to purchasing we went on a google spree, and I'm 100% sure I found information telling me this raid controller had support for JBOD with the latest firmware. I even mentioned this briefly in an email to the seller. Webb26 aug. 2009 · The 9210-8i, aka Intel RS2BL080, offers the same number of SAS/SATA ports as the 9260-8i, and the PCB has exactly the same dimensions, but the product is somewhat different, and much simpler overall.
