This can range from thought patterns to action. “In everyday usage, paradigm refers either to a model or an example to be followed or to an established system or way of doing things. Webwe shall see how reductionism is associated with three aspects of modern macroeconomics viz., (i) its scientific project; (ii) the reinforcement it lends to a certain view of market sociability; and (iii) its leanings to the neoliberal ideology. We also briefly remark on the unfeasibility of reductionism in the presence of emergent phenomena.
