With an NH-U12A it might be higher, but not above 45°C. So if you have even higher idle temps than 45°C, check if the heatpaste was properly applied, or if your airflow through the case is good. Maybe watch a tutorial how to mount the cooler correctly and then remount it, maybe you made some errors while mounting. Also check out your fan curves. WebMay 2024. I had similar temperatures at idle as yours but after doing thermal repaste, my temperatures have dropped significantly. The idle temps are now at 45 to 55.
