He played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the St. Louis Hawks, Phoenix Suns, Seattle SuperSonics, and Cleveland Cavaliers. Snyder graduated from Davidson College and was drafted by the Hawks in the second round of the 1966 NBA draft.
