Transgenic mice with heart tissue-specific Hepc1 expression alone or in combination with the cTnT (R141W) mutation were produced to study the effects of Hepc1 on DCM. WebMSCs significantly decreased chamber dilation and contractile dysfunction in cTnT R141W mouse. MSCs transplanted hearts showed a significant decrease in cardiac apoptosis and their regulation with Akt pathway. Cardiac fibrosis and cytoplasmic vacuolization in the MSCs group was significantly lower.
